About the studio
From a curious kid in Strand to a design studio.
kus.digital started out as an interest, grew into a hobby and, not long after, turned into a business.
Where it started
I grew up in Strand, South Africa, with a knack for engineering and anything mechanical. But as I got older, I realised it wasn't the moving parts or the laws and principles behind them that held my attention. It was the design behind them.
I've always been on the lookout for forms, shapes and colour combinations that are pleasing to the eye. So when I started designing a website for my wife's business, Tappel Art, something clicked. I loved every part of the process.

Being the busybody that I am, I also tried a few business ideas of my own, and every one of them needed branding and design.

The spark
The spark was lit and the flame was put into motion. Two years later, kus.digital was born: a studio focused on building a clear brand identity through hands-on design and development.
